MizanPower focuses on project origination, initial commercial assessment, introductions and coordination. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, MizanPower is not the engineering contractor, installer, electricity supplier, lender or regulated financial adviser for a project.
Website information
The calculator, articles and other content provide indicative screening information only. They are not an engineering design, structural assessment, grid offer, quotation, savings guarantee, investment advice, financial advice or commitment to deliver a project.
Indicative estimates
Actual generation, project cost, savings, export value, battery performance, revenue and commercial returns depend on site-specific factors including location, roof condition, orientation, shading, equipment, design, degradation, consumption profile, tariffs, grid connection, planning, financing, tax, maintenance and curtailment.
What MizanPower may do
- identify and qualify potential energy projects;
- provide initial commercial/economic screening;
- help organise site and consumption information;
- compare high-level structures such as solar-only, solar plus storage, CAPEX, PPA or financed delivery;
- introduce customers to selected technical, delivery, funding or energy partners;
- coordinate discussions and help move an opportunity toward a commercial decision.
What delivery partners do
Unless a specific written agreement states otherwise, technical design, structural engineering, equipment selection, DNO/grid applications, planning, construction, installation, commissioning, warranties and O&M are the responsibility of the appointed provider under that provider's own contract and terms.
PPA, finance and regulated services
Where a customer wishes to explore a PPA, hire-purchase, finance or another funded structure, MizanPower may introduce an appropriate provider. The relevant provider remains responsible for its own regulatory status, disclosures, suitability processes, contractual terms and delivery obligations. MizanPower does not hold itself out as an electricity supplier, lender or regulated financial adviser unless expressly authorised and stated otherwise.
Partner selection
MizanPower may introduce one or more providers based on project size, location, technology, commercial structure, capability, responsiveness and available information. An introduction is not a guarantee of a provider's performance. Customers should review provider proposals, contracts, credentials, warranties and commercial terms before appointment.
Referral and success fees
MizanPower may receive a referral, introduction or success fee from a delivery, funding or other commercial partner where a project proceeds. This is part of our business model. Where relevant, additional information about a commercial relationship can be provided or disclosed as appropriate.
No agency unless agreed
An introduction or coordination role does not by itself make MizanPower the legal agent, employee, joint-venture partner or representative of a customer or provider. Any authority to act for another party must be expressly agreed in writing.
Customer information
Assessments depend on the information provided. Customers are responsible for ensuring that site, consumption, ownership and project information supplied is reasonably accurate and that they have authority to provide it.
Project imagery
Some project imagery shows installations delivered by engineering and delivery partners within MizanPower's wider network. Such projects are presented as delivery experience and are not represented as UK projects delivered directly by MizanPower unless specifically stated.
Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, MizanPower is not responsible for decisions made solely from an indicative website estimate or for the acts, omissions, engineering, installation or contractual performance of an independently appointed third-party provider. Project-specific commitments are governed by the relevant written agreements.
Formal agreements
If a specific advisory, referral, project or other agreement is entered into, that signed agreement takes priority over general website information where the two differ.
